Tracey started her hooping journey in 2008, where a lazy afternoon looking for inspiration via YouTube culminated in the discovery of an ordinary girl, a camera and her hoop in a park. She looked like she was genuinely having fun, dancing around. Inspired, Tracey then took up this relatively unusual hobby. Eventually, this then led to meeting others who had discovered the transformative power of the hoop, which then led to her organising two World Hoop Day events and teaching others, some of whom have since gone on to pass their new-found passion on to students of their own.
After a long hiatus, she is now venturing back to where it started; this time with a focus on body awareness and movement mindfulness, celebrating and honouring one's natural rhythm, whatever their dance-ability may be.
