Tracey started her hooping journey in 2008, where a lazy afternoon looking for inspiration via YouTube culminated in the discovery of a regular girl, a camera and her hoop in a park.  Inspired, Tracey then took up this relatively unusual hobby, overcoming her initial struggle to master the basics. Tracey's perseverance paid off, and led to meeting others who had discovered the transformative power of the hoop - which then led to her organising two World Hoop Day events and teaching others, some of whom have since gone on to pass their new-found passion on to students of their own.

After a long hiatus, taking time out to complete an MA in Dance Movement Therapy, she is now venturing back to where it started; combining her interest in body awareness and movement mindfulness, to help individuals honour their own natural rhythm, whatever their dance-ability may be.
